Gerald Flurry: "Laodiceans" Must Join PCG or Their Children Will Be Cast into the Great Tribulation

Gerald Flurry says that even the children of the other COG groups ("Laodiceans" according to Gerald Flurry) are doomed to endure the Great Tribulation because their parents did not join PCG.
The Laodicean children must go through the Great Tribulation--mainly because of their rebelling parents! WHAT A HORRIFYING PENALTY for God's people who had the truth and rejected it! (Gerald Flurry, The Ezekiel Watchman, 1992, Chapter 8, p. 66.)
This is crude emotional blackmail. How many WCG members joined PCG because they were worried their children would endure the Great Tribulation unless they joined PCG? It is a sobering thought to think that some WCG members joined PCG because of such crude emotional blackmail. That is shameful conduct.

  2. Over the years, we've realized that there has been a disconnect between Armstrongism and the trib. ACOGs are not the gatekeepers, and we are not Manasseh and Ephraim.

People in these groups need to make a cost-benefit analysis. The Germans are not Assyrians, but even if they were, which is less painful? 3-1/2 years enslaved by them, or decades of financial and emotional enslavement in an ACOG? Really, 3-1/2 years is not a bad price tag to pay to buy back the rest of one's life. Not that it will ever play out that way, so no real fears. Also, if the Kingdom were to be a continuation of Armstrongism, like say as practiced by the Flurrys, annihilation would be the best alternative.
