Stephen Flurry Uses Arutz Sheva Article to Demonize Iran

It has been mentioned before that PCG has often relied on the far right Israeli media outlet Arutz Sheva. Arutz Sheva caters for national religious Israeli Jews. It is closely associated with the settlers. Its headquarters are in Beit El, an Israeli settlement in the West Bank.

Stephen Flurry continued this habit in a recent radio broadcast (April 6, 2016) citing an Arutz Sheva article to scare monger that Iran is preparing for 'widespread' war.

In this broadcast Stephen Flurry once again lambasts President Obama accusing him of being bested of humiliated by the Iranians regarding Iran's recent ballistic missile tests (22:10-29:40 minutes). At 27:20 Stephen Flurry mentions an Arutz Sheva article. Here is the section of the Arutz Sheva article cited by Stephen Flurry on his radio broadcast.
Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari has said Iran is preparing for all-out war with the US and its allies, and has vowed Iran will continue advancing and testing its ballistic missile program.
Speaking at a gathering of senior IRGC commanders in Tehran Tuesday, Jafari declared that the US "would not be able to do a damned thing" in the face of Iranian advances, according to official Tasnim news agency.
"For years, we have been building power on the presumption of a widespread war with the US and its allies, and have developed all our capacities and capabilities for decisive victories over such enemies," Jafari said. (Arutz Sheva, April 5, 2016.)
Is this Iranian Commander talking about a defensive war fought in Iran or an offensive war? Stephen Flurry never asks that question.

If Stephen Flurry assumes this is discussing an offensive war by Iran against the United States how would this happen? America is far away from Iran.

Stephen Flurry made no mention of the rest of the article in which the Commander cited complains about certain Arab countries.

And so it is seen that this is just more anti-Iran scare mongering from Stephen Flurry. In 1994 PCG's leader, Gerald Flurry, proclaimed Iran to be the King of the South. Ever since PCG has constantly demonized Iran for reasons sometimes well founded and sometimes nonsensical. If there is peace between the United States and Iran it will be harder for PCG to get new recruits and such a peace would humiliate PCG.

Arutz Sheva is often quoted by PCG and to a somewhat lesser extent by UCG, LCG and RCG.

  1. Sadly the PCG and the rest of the Armstrong alphabetical cults follow the dictates of a faulty American policy of confrontation. They the Americans will be on the losing side. Iran is a formidable force to be dealt with. And I can't blame them for wanting Nukes. It is necessary to have them in order to deter the Americans who have an eye towards worldwide hegemony.

  2. At present I cannot help but wonder if Iran even wants nuclear weapons. Not least because of Khamenei's 2003 fatwa condemning the possession of nuclear weapons as un-Islamic.

But even if Iran intended to get nuclear weapons I trust the United States to be able to handle any situation that may arise. The United States is far, far more powerful than Iran. But the COGs are so determined to see their dogmas come to pass they barely notice that fact.
