On July 22, 2011, a foul terrorist named Anders Behring Breivik went on a murderous rampage in Norway murdering 77 innocent people. Just before he went on his murderous rampage he released onto the Internet a 1518 page PDF file containing his own writings and a compilation of articles from various sources that is often referred to as his "manifesto."
In one place he cited an article from the website of the Garner Ted Armstrong Evangelistic Association. Now of course only one man is responsible for the terrorist attack, the foul terrorist himself. This organization bears no responsibility for what happened. This is simply to note what happened.
The following is from the foul terrorist's "manifesto" in the section, "2.51 Is Islam Compatible with Democracy?," pp. 524-562.
In 2006, the European Commission (the EU’s government) announced that it would send its proposals for EU laws to national parliaments for comment - but it made clear that Brussels would only “take note” of national parliamentarians’ wishes. The European Union’s concept of “consultation” is thus that the people or their representatives should give their “advice,” and then the leaders should be free to ignore this advice. Thus the EU will be able to integrate seamlessly into the Caliphate, given that it already operates under some of the same principles. (p. 546.)The citation for footnote 69 on page 562 refers to the link below. This is not an exact quote since for whatever reason the foul terrorist used a slightly different URL.
http://www.garnertedarmstrong.org/UnitedEuropeStories/unitedeuropestory06-35.shtmlThe link goes to a September 4, 2006 article which is a reproduction of an article from a non-COG source.
Clearly the link concerning the foul terrorist with the COGs is very weak. But let us use this as a warning to ourselves to make sure that what we write cannot be exploited by extremists.
